Mercedes Benz wants 20% of its cars in 2023 to be electric

At the end of 2022, Mercedes-Benz AG reported that it doubled its sales of battery-electric cars, with a growth of 124%, this is the sale of 117,800 units in 2022 against 52,500 units in 2021 worldwide.

The automaker gave the green light for the opening of the first authorized distributor for the brand’s electric vehicles in the southeast region, in Mérida Yucatán, as part of a strategy to strengthen the network of specific Mercedes-EQ distributors in our nation. The brand already has seven points of sale and service on the national territory.
