Two new electric versions arrive for the iX2 and i5 with up to 538 km of autonomy.

The permitted range may now be increased to 478 kilometers, or over 30 km farther, by installing the same 64.8 kWh lithium battery, with an official combined cycle consumption between 15.3 and 16.9 kWh for every 100 kilometers traveled. Choose high-power feeders for recharging; they can handle up to 22 kW of alternating current and 130 kW of direct current. Although the cost has not yet been disclosed, a price less than the present entrance point of $62,400 makes sense.

An intermediate form of the two previously known units is the BMW i5 family. Known by its official name, i5 xDrive40. With one electric motor on each axle, it can provide up to 290 kW (394 HP) of power at its maximum output. 

A lithium-ion battery with a net capacity of 81.2 kWh powers. Because of this, it permits an electric range in the combined cycle of up to 538 km, which is over 50 kilometers less than the family’s highest-range model. Regarding charging, the i5 xDrive40 can restore 156 kilometers of autonomy in under 10 minutes. In Spain, it is being sold for at least $85,400.

The BMW XM figure sticks out among them. The XM 50e, the house’s most exceptional SUV, is the official name of the new plug-in hybrid vehicle. It is an electric motor and a thermal petrol motor, which combined may provide power up to 350 kW/476 HP. It can increase its electric range to a maximum of 83 km thanks to a lithium battery with a net capacity of 25.7 kWh. The battery takes 4.5 hours to fully recharge on alternating current. Without discounts or special deals, its suggested retail price is $1,39,507.
