      • The dual-motor version automatically includes the captain’s chairs as standard.

2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz Cargo space options

Standard Pro S and Pro S Plus (7-passenger)

            • With all seats in use, the cargo space is limited but still sufficient for small luggage or groceries.
            • Rear seats folded down: When you fold the second and third rows, the cargo space expands significantly, giving you plenty of room for larger items like camping gear or even bicycles.

Captain’s Chairs Configuration (Optional on Pro S Plus and Standard on Dual-Motor AWD)

              • With captain’s chairs, there’s a bit less cargo flexibility compared to the bench seat version, but it still offers decent space.
              • Seats folded down: You still get an ample amount of cargo area, similar to the standard configuration.

              1st Edition (5 or 7-passenger)

                • Similar to the Pro S Plus, the 1st Edition dual-motor comes standard with captain’s chairs, while the single-motor version has the bench seat.
                • Cargo space remains adaptable, with the ability to fold seats for more storage.

In all configurations, the removable front center console provides added versatility for more space between the front seats.

For those needing maximum cargo space, opting for the bench seat models with foldable rear seats will offer the greatest flexibility, allowing you to switch between carrying passengers and cargo with ease.

                Charging speed options

The 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz offers different charging speeds depending on the power source you use. Here are the charging options:

                1. DC Fast Charging (Public Charging Stations):

                • The 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz supports DC fast charging up to 170 kW
                • With this, you can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes. This is ideal for long trips where you need a quick recharge.

                2. Level 2 Charging (Home Charging with Wall Box):

                • The 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz can charge at 11 kW on a Level 2 home charging station.
                • Charging the battery from 0% to 100% takes around 7.5 to 8 hours on a standard Level 2 charger. This option is great for overnight charging at home or at work.

                3. Level 1 Charging (Standard Household Outlet):

                • You can plug into a standard 110-volt outlet, but this is the slowest charging method.
                • Expect a full charge to take more than 30 hours using this method, so it’s mainly useful for emergencies or when other charging options aren’t available.

Charging Option Speed Time to Full Charge
DC Fast Charging (170 kW) 10-80% in 30 minutes Quick top-ups on the go
Level 2 (11 kW) 7.5-8 hours from 0% to 100% Overnight charging at home
Level 1 (110V) 30+ hours for a full charge Slowest option, for emergencies

For everyday use, a Level 2 home charger is the most practical, while DC fast charging is perfect for long trips where you need to recharge quickly.
