The director of transportation services for the Kern County school districts showed off the three buses that will be destined for the Taft School District.
These vehicles can be identified because they will continue to maintain the classic yellow color
The California State Energy Commission (CEC) provided part of a $1.11 million grant to Kern County Schools to purchase three electric school buses

The buses are 26 feet long and can carry 42 passengers. Vehicles have an approximate range of 150 miles per charge.
It works with a 315kWh battery. The battery replaces the fuel tank, and its engine is much smaller.
It should be noted that other states have already received electric school buses as part of their commitment to the environment.
